Lewis Wagner is proud to announce that partner John C. Trimble has been named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s inaugural Indiana 250 list—which recognizes the most influential business leaders in Indiana, across multiple industries.
These individuals were nominated by fellow Hoosiers, and ultimately selected by IBJ Media leadership, after consulting with business and community leaders, as well as journalists within the IBJ, Indiana Lawyer, and Inside Indiana Business.
In compiling the list, staff sought to identify and recognize the state’s most influential business leaders who have made a difference within their communities, for fellow Hoosiers, and for Indiana’s economy.
“John has made such a remarkable impact on our organization and the legal community—exemplifying each of the characteristics essential to earning a spot on the Indiana 250 list,” said Lewis Wagner Managing Partner Richard M. Blaiklock. “It is a true honor to work alongside a visionary like John, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.”
Throughout his career, John has shown continuous leadership and dedication to the legal community, serving as President of the Indianapolis Bar Association and President of the Board of the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society—lending his expertise and legal prowess to guide and preserve the legal profession.
John’s extensive accomplishments have earned him numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including being named among the top 10 attorneys in Indiana Super Lawyers® since 2004 and Best Lawyers’ Indianapolis “Lawyer of the Year” five times over the past decade. His peers have also selected him for inclusion The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of insurance law, mediation, and personal injury litigation (defense) each year since 2010. In 2021, The Defense Research Institute honored John with the Louis B. Potter Lifetime Professional Service Award.
While John has received numerous honors for his work within the legal field, he attributes his accomplishments to the support of his wife Ann, and their daughters Laura and Marie.
